The Chester family of Virginia, USA began breeding and development of the Targhee/Columbia Sheep in the late 1990's to produce a high-end, luxury fiber and after nearly ten years in development the traditional wool line was born. This fiber creates a yarn that blends together loft and softness.

The spinning process and the breed of sheep this wool comes from makes it durable and machine washable without a chemical process. It becomes softer with each washing. Does not felt easily.
