Merino natural colored white - 4oz

This is a natural white California grown Merino wool roving. The wool was purchased while I was down in CA at Lambtown Festival. Washed, hand picked and carded here at the mill. 

There will be some pilling in this fiber so I recommend spinning it short forward to minimize some of the texture that will occur in the yarn while spinning. If you don't mind a little texture, long draw spin this fiber all day long. While I try my best to minimize pilling it is very hard to card it without pilling due to its fine nature, short staple length in parts and of course the hard to avoid second cuts. This fiber was part of my January subscription club and those that have spun it said it was a joy to spin and super luscious.
